Vee Wire wrapped screen manufactured by welding specially-shaped wire to support rods, thereby creating a continuous slot，have maximizes flow area, increases operating efficiencies and reduces downtime.
Vee Wire wrapped screen designed for effective downhole sand control with minimum pressure drop. It provides maximum inlet area and has more open area per foot of screen length (at any gauge opening and diameter) than any other all welded screen design. The wire-wrapped screen high collapse and tensile strength coupled with a competitive cost structure make it a superior alternative to slotted casing. It is versatile and adapts to many types of applications. The wire wrapped screens is custom built using different combinations of support rods and V-shaped profile wire to meet specific well conditions.
Vee Wire wrapped screens keep the gravel out, let the water in.Unlike every other type of screen, vee wire screen uses a unique design consisting of a series of steel support rods around which a continuous length of wire is wrapped. Each intersection of wire and rod is automatically welded making a very strong cage-like cylinder with one continuous slot spiraling along its full length.
